This focused issue on “Precision Radiotherapy in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma” aims to provide a comprehensive review on the ongoing understandings of precision radiotherapy in Nasopharynx Carcinoma, and is guest-edited by:
Dr. Wai Tong Ng, Department of Clinical Oncology, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Hong Kong;
Dr. Sophie (Shao Hui) Huang, Department of Radiation Oncology, Princess Margaret Hospital / University of Toronto Toronto, Ontario, Canada;
Dr. Hai Qiang Mai, Department of Nasopharyneal Carcinoma, Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, Guangzhou, China.

Dr. Wai Tong Ng is currently the Deputy Chief of Service at the Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, honorary clinical associate professor at the University of Hong Kong, honorary clinical associate professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and past president of the Hong Kong Head and Neck Society. Over the years, Dr. Ng has been actively engaged in clinical research and has contributed to more than 100 publications. His main interest is head and neck oncology.

Dr. Shao Hui (Sophie) Huang is Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto. Her major interest is to understanding clinical behavior, to facilitate prevention and early diagnosis, and to optimize treatment of HPV-related oropharyngeal cancer.

Dr. Hai Qiang Mai is Professor of Radiation Oncology, and PhD Supervisor in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, China. Dr. Mai is proficient in treating nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and his research is mainly focused on the prognosis and individualized treatment for nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
